Welcome to St James’s Church

St James’s is a large and lively parish,
with a community of Christians
spanning generations and from many nations, in north-eastern Enfield.

Worship and prayer services at St James’s 

 10am Sundays:   Sung Parish Eucharist (in church, plus Zoom and Facebook)

A service of Holy Communion with hymns and a sermon

Simultaneously online via Zoom and live-streamed on St James’s Facebook page.

 10am Wednesdays:   Midweek Communion service (in the Lady Chapel)

A simple service of Holy Communion, commemorating the lives of the saints

and followed by fellowship over tea and coffee, toast and sometimes cake!

 9.30am Saturdays:   Morning prayer (in the Lady Chapel, plus Zoom and Facebook)

Coming together in prayer before the church is open for our weekly Coffee Morning

 8pm Sundays;

 9pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays:  Compline (night prayer) (on Zoom and Facebook)

A short service of night prayer to wind up the day and preparing us for a night’s rest
