Welcome to St James’s Church
St James’s is worshipping in church and online.
Worship times at St James’s
Here’s what’s on offer:
10am Sundays: Parish Eucharist (in church, plus Zoom and Facebook)
A service of Holy Communion with hymns,
Simultaneously online via Zoom and live-streamed on St James’s Facebook page.
10am Wednesdays: Midweek Communion service (in the Lady Chapel)
A simple service of Holy Communion, commemorating the lives of the saints
and followed by fellowship over tea and coffee, toast and sometimes cake!
COVID Restrictions are in effect at St James’s.
On 27 January HM Government rescinded the mask mandate, even for places of worship. We will still have several measures in place to protect those who are vulnerable. For an update on our Coronavirus protocols particularly regarding public worship on Sunday , please click here for a complete FAQ on what to expect in church.
In addition to what's on offer above, at St James’s is still carrying on with
-
Prayer services online throughout the week
-
Two Bible study groups every week (Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings)
-
Get-togethers for fellowship and social connectedness
-
Pastoral care for those in need
